The Story

Not theory. Lived experience — then methodology.

Where it started

Most people think they have a business, career, relationship, or money problem. What they usually have is a hidden human pattern driving it. I know this because I lived it first. There was more than one stuck place — the kind you don't name until you're deep in it, looking back at how you got there.

The tools I trained in — Immunity to Change®, HeartMath, psychosynthesis, narrative therapy, NLP — I didn't learn them to teach them. I learned them because I needed them. That distinction matters more than any credential.

The informal years

I was working in corporate when people started finding me. Not through a website or a business card — over coffees at Vida Café. Colleagues, then their friends, then people I'd never met who'd been passed my name by someone who said "talk to Theo."

Those conversations were real in a way that formal sessions often aren't. No intake forms. No agenda. Just two people at a table, one of them with a problem they hadn't been able to name, the other with a map they'd built by living through the same terrain.

Going deeper — Harvard and beyond

One of the most significant investments in my development was Immunity to Change® certification — trained at Harvard. The short version: most change efforts fail not because people lack motivation or skill, but because of a hidden competing commitment — a subconscious programme actively working against the change. Finding it changes everything.

I'd moved into enterprise agile coaching and formal executive coaching by then. I've worked across leadership development, organisational change, team effectiveness, and executive facilitation. Again and again, the same truth: the external blockage mirrors an internal one. The business reflects the owner. The team reflects the leader.

The integrated approach

My work sits at the intersection of psychology, systems thinking, leadership, behavioural change, and human performance. It integrates psychosynthesis, narrative therapy, NLP, Tavistock systems psychodynamics, executive coaching, nervous system regulation and coherence work, and behavioural and performance frameworks.

Psychosynthesis

A transpersonal psychology framework that works with the whole person — including subpersonalities, the will, and the relationship between the personal and the larger context of a life. Used for depth work beneath the presenting pattern.

Narrative Therapy

The stories we carry about ourselves shape what we believe is possible. Narrative therapy externalises and re-authors those stories — separating the person from the problem, and opening new trajectories for identity and action.

NLP & Performance Frameworks

Neuro-linguistic programming provides rapid tools for shifting state, reframing limiting beliefs, and anchoring new patterns of response. Used selectively where precision and speed of behavioural change matter most.

Tavistock Systems Psychodynamics

The Tavistock approach to group and organisational dynamics — understanding how unconscious processes shape systems, roles, and relationships. Essential for leaders whose patterns are both personal and systemic.

Drawing on systemic constellation methodology (developed from Bert Hellinger's constellation work), this session makes the invisible structure of organisational dynamics visible — revealing the loyalties, entanglements, and forces that keep certain patterns in place.
